I LOVE a laundry room makeover!! Laundry rooms are small, so redoing one is a way more manageable project than redoing a kitchen or even living room, plus the essential elements are obvious (washer, dryer) so you get to play around with design and big functional improvements like storage. And once they're updated, how great is it to do laundry in a pretty space?!?!

This week on the Your Home Story podcast we're covering everything you need to know about updating a laundry room. Whether you're gutting and redoing, or just need some design updates and cleanup, we're covering form and function.

We talk about evaluating what elements you need in your laundry room, maximizing the space you have to work with, and affordable upgrades you can make. For example we hung stock cabinets in our last house's laundry room for about $200 instead of using the builder basic shelf for laundry soap, lightbulbs, etc. (I like to store a lot of stuff in the laundry room!) and it made a HUGE impact!
