Stripes, white, and blue - linen jumpsuit
I was inspired by quite a few linen-ey, stripe-ey jumpsuits, a few shown below. I love the look of the vertical stripes, and while I've made rompers/jumpsuits before, usually they're blousy and elastic-waisted--it was hard, but I found ONE pattern for a fitted strapless jumpsuit.
I looked at linen stripes on Fabric.com and found this one... it's a linen/cotton blend and it hasn't been wrinkling too much like a pure linen, and is the perfect weight for this jumpsuit. Super good price, too! Fabric.com sent it to me to review.
The fitted look is definitely a little more daring than I often do! But I love it!
I kind of meant for the pants to be even shorter, like cropped, like in this one... I might shorten them sometime. Gotta find that sweet spot with flared pants where they don't make your legs look short.
The fit on this pattern is great!
Great on those magical summer evenings that are warm, but not too hot!
