Remember my challenge when I made
this maxi dress? I've had a chance to work on my goal of wearing maxis for fall, since we've had roller coaster fall weather with pouring rain and wind and then gorgeous sun and 79 degrees in the car in the sun. But, this past week has been great, and we have another several days of no rain forecast.
But it does get cold a night, and I would look a little nuts walking around in a glorified tank dress, so I did get a chance to winter-ize (fall-ize) the
black maxi dress. Behold...
Plus, black + beige or brown = perfect fall look if you're not good at wearing the earth tones.
Jacket and Scarf: Ross. Booties: F21.
Bring on the sunny fall weather!
What do you say to black and beige and maxi's??!
This is a different type of maxi, the fabric choice is unexpected, but it looks so sophisticated! I wish I had enough style to carry this off because it looks great!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great jacket!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm not sure I'm super stylish, either, I'm sure you could try! =)
ReplyDeleteI envy anyone who has a DIY aesthetic. Most I can DIY is a sandwich, and even that's only about 60% successful to no one but me. *heh*
ReplyDeleteLovely outfits.
This is definitely the perfect fall look! Fantastic post :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this look- I know everyone is pulling out their knee high boots, but it's still nice to see glimpses of this feminine and softer dress layered up for the early mornings/late evenings, but otherwise what, it's been in the 70s sometimes during the day, so let's celebrate it!
ReplyDeleteLoving the black and beige, and you have great styling too, stylings definitely not my forte, so thanks for the ideas. I may have to dive in and make a maxi dress now, and lucky for me it's summer over here in Aus. You have definitely pulled off the winter-maxi look though :)
