Portland Fashion Week is coming up!

It's almost fall, of course... and here in Portland we have our own local fashion week this time of year!

This year is the 10th anniversary of Portland Fashion Week, and I'll be attending! I've never been before but this year am part of the Style Collective--so I get to attend and blog about the fabulous and fun events.

Porltand Fashion Week

The events will feature a huge variety of local designers, really of all kinds! I'm particularly excited for the ready-to-wear show. I don't love runway fashion but I know Portland designers can do a great job with realistic, practical but stylish and fresh clothing! Even Adorn will be there--I love them!

PFW Show Schedule:

  • Future of Fashion – Thursday, September 12th, doors at 6pm
  • Bridal – Friday, September 13th, doors at 11am (matinee)

Maybe I'll see you at one of the shows!!

Have you ever attended a "fashion week" event anywhere?! I don't quite know what to expect and if it will be like the shows I see pics of in InStyle! ;)

  1. I'm so excited about seeing so many of the shows. The ready wear is always the one that I can fit into my own life the most though!

  2. Save your money on this one folks. 10 years of some of the most uninspiring stuff you can imagine. When they mix in one or two talented artists you may or may not see over several days it is certainly not worth the door prices. Financial rape of Portland's fashion fans for tickets who almost always walk out of the PFW shows very disappointed is utterly shameful
