How to Wear DIY: Patriotic white dress and blue jean jacket
I'm enjoying a little time off this weekend! My husband's birthday was yesterday and we have big plans with my family every year this holiday weekend. So the poor guy tags along and we try to sneak in some birthday festivities as well.
But, I try to dress for the season, and I'm sure we're all feeling a little patriotic this weekend... I will definitely be rocking this little white dress again! (Note: Since I made it, I've lengthened the skirt--I put a big hem in it but realized it was too big and took it out, so now it's 3" longer! I wore basically the exact same outfit (minus the wedges) to work yesterday for "Casual Hot Wednesday"--we literally got an all-staff email Tuesday encouraging us to wear shorts and comfortable clothes on the 3rd, since we won't be here Friday the 5th and they usually do casual Fridays. And because it's been up to 97 or 98 degrees this week!)
Here's the dress on our minibreak to Bend the other weekend. No red, but white and blue! I love a denim jacket with a summer dress... =)
Are you wearing red, white, and blue this weekend?!
So lovely!! I didn't wear red, white and blue on the forth, but am wearing it today!! Better late than never :)
