Thanks so much for sharing pics of your sewing rooms and offices, and giving me links with more ideas!  I posted here that I'm getting pretty darn tired of our small, awkwardly laid out shared office and cannot wait till we move soon--but in the meantime, thinking about how I want the new space to look!

Oyyy, I love the light and brightness and IKEA goodies in that last one.  And all the adorable colors in all of them!  And cute prints!

    hi there! recently found your blog and i'm so glad i did! mine is more of a sewing 'nook' but i am in the process of organizing and there are some awesome space saving ideas on here. happy weekend!

      Space-saving is SO important for a small sewing space--mine is pretty small and def could be organized better! Great to get ideas though =)

    While I wouldn't post a pic of mess of a sewing space, I do highly recommend the sewing table I found at IKEA. It uses the Vika Artur trestle legs (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00144763/) that can be raised so that your cutting surface is higher than a normal table. No more back aches from bending over low tables. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

      That's a GREAT idea! I have an IKEA desk top with some cheap legs. I love those trestle things!

    LIGHT! just realised that is what my sewing room needs. Moving to Belgium (from Ireland) and those European houses are full of big windows. Lovely rooms ladies!!

    I love the vertical storage of fabric in the first pic. I'm looking forward to finding a way to use that in my office/sewing room.
