I had some ivory faux fur sitting around from last winter; I guess I had had some plans for it but it was too small a piece... whatever. So I decided to put it to use and make it into a pillow!
For the back I used the same corduroy as I did in this tutorial. It works well. Check it out if you want a quick project!
I whipped this one up during the first 10 or so minutes of a HIMYM episode. My husband loves that, too. ;)
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Deletelove your diy fur pillow! I swear, if I had a million dollars I would buy everything in sight at West Elm :).
ReplyDeleteLove finding fellow portland bloggers out there! :)
OMG, I know, right? Their stuff is soooo great, and has gotten way cooler in recent years, I think...
DeleteGo Portland bloggers! Didn't see you at the event last weekend... check out posts from Jenni, the administrator... http://www.awellcraftedparty.com/search/label/portlandbloggers Hope to meet you sometime!
I love touching everything soft, I guess it's not just a male tendency. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I guess I do, too. =)
DeleteI'm a sucker for faux fur. My grandmother would make quilts with faux fut on one side and cotton flannel on the other! Super warm!
ReplyDeleteOoh, that does sound super warm! I saw a furry throw at World Market, might be a good DIY!
