Mending, ironing, and cutting
I have most of the day free (yaaay!), so I've spent my morning chipping away at the mending pile, ironing some freshly washed laundry so it doesn't sit and get more wrinkly, and getting ready to cut out some new things! Let's hope I finish in time to actually get the cutting done...
It feels good to get things done right away on the weekend. It also feels good to have a leisurely morning, though... I guess I have a nice blend of both, since I am still in my pajamas!
What are you doing this weekend? When is your most productive time?
I do like these solitary times as I seem to make more when I'm on my own (and I also tend to get less wound up). Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI spend my whole weekend just doing nothing. well, this is not so much productive but after months of busy days this was necessary! have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me to do some summer sewing with your cute projects--your dresses always come out so beautifully! Wish me luck ;-) http://maybe-matilda.blogspot.com/2011/03/summer-of-handmade-dress.html
ReplyDeleteMy most productive time is definitely night. I get my second wind about 8:30 and can really focus on knocking stuff out. Sadly, I generally have to be up at 6:00 a.m. with my husband and daughter to give them a good sendoff each morning.
