Magpie Patterns!

I'm excited to announce a new sponsor today, Amy from Magpie Patterns!
If you haven't been to this site, you have to check it out--what a great collection of interesting boutique patterns that you can't get at your average fabric store!
Of course I love that Magpie is based in my city, Portland, OR, and it's a great online store for the rest of the world!  Here's a little bit about Magpie Patterns's founder:
An insatiable pattern collector, Amy Buringrud decided to turn her hobby into her business in 2009 by opening up her little online boutique, Magpie Patterns. She thought that there couldn’t be anything better than collecting and selling lovely patterns by talented, independent designers, but it turns out that working with all the amazing people in the crafting community is the best thing about her new career!
Magpie Patterns has sewing, knitting, crochet, and embroidery patterns as well as as many books!  And Amy is really good about noting right away if the pattern is a paper (mailed) pattern or an online PDF that you receive after buying.
Here's a sample of some fun sewing patterns Magpie has:
Parfait by Collette Patterns:

Sweet Dress (and Sweet Baby Dress) by Leila and Ben:
Some amazing, darling knitting patterns:
Oatmeal Pullover by Jane Richmond:
Elijah by Ysolda:
And--who knew there were such great embroidery patterns out there?!  I have never seen so many cute ones!
Bramble Blooms by Polka and Bloom:
L: Lion by Penguin and Fish: (How awesome would it be to do the whole alphabet in a quilt or something!)

Hope you have fun checking out all the goodies at Magpie Patterns!
