I don't remember how I came across this site, but I just did recently, and it it so much fun!  www.YourStyleRocks.com is a relatively new site ("A fashion revolution to DIY for") that's all about DIY fashion and creating great looks at home.  Which is what I do, too!  They have free patterns and a fun community, complete with monthly design contests!  Here's their mission statement:
Here at Your Style Rocks! we think that individual, home-sewn fashion is so much more exciting than standard clothes you can buy in highstreet stores - which is why we offer you dress patterns to download and use for free. You have your own design ideas? Awesome! Share them with us in our monthly challenge. The style rated the most by our community will be published as next month's free pattern. It could be your design that's going to rock our fashion world next!
How awesome, right?  Your Style Rocks is having a very cool contest right now, a dress design contest with a "Sunday, Lovely Sunday" theme--the winner gets his/her design made into a pattern to be available on the site!  How cool is that?!  I'm writing to you all now not only to let you know about the very cool new community of Your Style Rocks, but also as a plug--I would just looooove if you would all go over to the contest and vote for me!!  Here's the dress I submitted!
