Great pattern giveaway!
I'm happy to welcome a new sponsor to Adventures in Dressmaking, Cheryl of Paradiso Designs. This small business out of Seattle makes great patterns for some very high quality handbags and cute clothes. She uses a lot of Amy Butler fabrics and high quality vinyl handles and trim for strength to make her bags useful and comfortable to wear. She's joining us as a sponsor and will be doing a generous giveaway--one lucky reader (domestic or international) will receive a pattern of your choice! Here are some of the great patterns Cheryl makes:
Lots of fun designs! Which will you pick?
Paradiso Designs is a great small business for lovers of handmade and quality items. Here's some info about Cheryl, the talented owner and entrepreneur:
Cheryl started doing custom design over 25 years ago, but has been drawing and designing since she was a small child. Paradiso Designs by Cheryl Kuczek was started by Cheryl over 10 years ago as a custom design business. Two years ago Cheryl started teaching adults and children not only how to sew, but how to incorporate their own style wants and needs into their creations. In the fall of 2007, Cheryl introduced her own independent pattern line with four handbag patterns, and since has developed many more. As a teacher Cheryl loves helping her students learn to sew beyond what they thought they could do by helping them create her handbag patterns, clothes that really do fit, and all kinds of stuffed creatures. Children are encouraged to draw their own patterns that are then used to make their projects. Adults are helped with their projects to not just complete them, but to really understand the design on how it looks and the evolving creation process. Cheryl continues to teach and design with passion. She finds joy in the ability to give others a reason to sew and create too. Cheryl teaches at her house, Quiltworks Northwest, Nancy’s Sewing Basket, and Pacific Fabrics. Visit Cheryl’s blog at www.paradisodesigns.wordpress.com today, and get inspired. Checkout her website for upcoming sewing tutorials at www.paradisodesigns.com! Email Cheryl at cheryl@paradisodesigns.com to get on her mailing list for event alerts!
