Today I went over to my parents' house and helped my mom at
Lavender's Green Historic Clothing with an order for eight 1890's silk ballgowns for
Belle Meade Plantation in Tennessee. It's a very exciting order and it was nice to do delicate handsewing on silk for a change! Here are some of the fabrics she's been using:
